In 2008 Primus Communication tied up an exclusive relationship with Costco Canada to offer members discounted telephony / internet rates, they turned to KSG to build a nationwide team to take their products to market.

Objective

  • The scope included building a true nationwide network of sales teams achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Educate Costco members on the brand, services and saving against the main telecom incumbents
  • Build strong relationships with Costco duty managers and solidify the venture between Primus and Costco Canada

Results

  • Launching in Toronto, KSG organically and sustainably build a national sales team of 200 brand ambassadors across 96 Costco locations across the country.
  • Over 120,000 new Costco members acquired for Costco annually and 1 million+ educational engagements with members annually.
  • 12 years and growing stronger: Costco continues to look for new ways to assist Primus to expand and add additional member services and savings.
